Client: Haley House
Agency: Emerson College Marketing Graduate Program
Task: Creative storyboard for 50th Anniversary Poetry House Slam
Haley House started in 1966, when Kate and John McKenna rented a basement apartment in Boston's South End and started taking in men and women they found sleeping on the streets. By 1980, what started as a simple act of kindness had turned into a full-service soup kitchen, live-in community, and coffee shop run by likeminded volunteers who were moved to action by the social, racial and economic injustice they witnessed.

In 2016, Haley House celebrated its 50th anniversary. To celebrate their golden year, and as part of a Creative Marketing project, Suleidys set out to create a story board and marketing campaign that would elevate the organization and promote their services, all while gathering funds for the much needed homeless community in the poorest parts of Boston.

The video is forecasted to be produced and showcased by local TV channels, and a radio version would be broadcasted by university radios such as Emerson College, NorthEastern University and Boston University. A GoFundMe campaign would accompany it, with a goal set to be $50,000 by Summer of 2019.
